WATERLOO, Iowa (March 18, 2020) — As we closely monitor the developing COVID-19 health crisis, we want to share the safety measures we’re taking both internally and externally to do our part in preventing transmission of the coronavirus disease.
In all CPM locations worldwide, we have implemented an Infectious Disease Control Policy that includes eliminating nonessential travel, work-from-home arrangements when possible, and quarantine guidance for employees who are ill. Employees who continue to work in our facilities are practicing stringent sanitation and social distancing. We have closed our facilities to most visitors, and all essential visitors are being screened with questionnaires.
While we remain vigilant in preventing disease spread among our team, we realize that our customers’ businesses must continue to operate, and we are here to help ensure they do so. The CPM service team remains available to assist customers with equipment service. Because of current conditions, we ask that customers utilize our team to advise and instruct onsite teams remotely whenever possible. Our experienced and qualified technicians can talk customers’ teams through repairs over the phone, via video conference, or through other communications tools.
We will be in contact with customers already scheduled for service visits to determine needs. If necessary, our team can and will travel to customer sites to service equipment. Here are the precautions we’re taking when we do:
Be assured that CPM will continue to closely monitor this quickly changing situation and adjust as necessary, while at the same time remaining committed to our customers and their business. Now, more than ever, The CPM Advantage means we are here for customers. Customers are encouraged to reach out to their CPM sales representative if we can be of any assistance at all. We can also be contacted here or at 800-428-0846.
